First Light Women & Retreats was founded by Carol Neilson, born out of a desire for creating spaces where women could gather to rest, restore, create and simply BE.
This is her dream … bringing like-minded women together; enriching their creative souls and nurturing body . mind . spirit.
Think yoga, internal & external adventuring, lush food, stillness, digital detox, chilling with a book, maybe a spirited conversation or two AND a joyful celebration dinner at our retreat weekends for just being divine women.
There are likely to be belly laughs, delight in the sacred and the profane. You don’t have to be a yoga fiend, nor do you have to wear make-up and have to hold yourself just so. You don’t have to give up coffee OR drink juice and detox. Nor do you have to give up dessert. We’ve got you covered. ALL we ask is that you show up … F U L L Y prepared to surrender to the magic that shows up when you do.

Carol regularly invites friends to co-host workshops & retreats. These have included yoga teacher Stacy K Dixon, Leonie Wise, Dyana Valentine and internationally renowned singer Toni Childs.
I like collaborating with like-minded women. To bring together a collective radiant with the desire to light the world up. Women who want to collaborate, have a vision, and are walking their path enlightened by their own embodied experiences.
